After years of passion in photography Sid Bolden took it to the next level by starting Stewie Hues Media, LLC. Prior to forming Stewie Hues Media, Bolden could always be found with a camera. From his internship at a weekly newspaper in the early 1990s to the present Bolden has never been very far from one of his Nikon camera bodies.
Primarily shooting headshots and covering local high school sports when he began. Bolden dove into some motorsports coverage of the Old Dominion Speedway hosting the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series. After leaving the local newspaper to begin a career in public safety, Bolden found himself in 1998 as the founder of his volunteer fire department website. Bolden’s journalistic style resonated through the pages of the site. With his photography and writing style the site was truly his own canvas.
In 2005, Bolden stepped into digital photography. Shortly there after he began to expand a portfolio to include his public safety photography, portraiture and landscape work. In 2007 Stewie Hues Media was formed. Bolden currently focuses on portraiture and limited landscape photography. He occasionally photographs weddings and sporting events as he is available.
